We have a whole host of things about how exercise and brain-stimulating exercises are associated with a lower risk of dementia. Companies sprout up to sell you something based on this.

All these studies show is that if we look at those with dementia and those without dementia, these are their characteristics — is that so surprising? There has yet to be a successful intervention study to show benefit, and as far as I know no intervention study with chocolate either.

Anyone who deep down believes that eating chocolate is going to help their cardiovascular health, prevent cancer or cause depression is just way too naive. Eat chocolate because it tastes great.

What do you think about the acceptable levels of cockroach body parts in chocolate? I wonder if that adds to the utter divine deliciousness of it, or if it might be the part that produces depressive symptoms. LOL!

I do like chocolate though. In my younger military days, I figured if taken POW, I would give the enemy anything if;
a. They offered me chocolate
b. Threatened to drill my teeth with a pedal drill

I like articles that tell me how good it is, don’t feel so guilty then 🙂
